Post Snippets Plugin for WordPress

I just released my first WordPress Plugin, Post Snippets.

Post Snippets is an admin plugin for WordPress that let’s you store snippets of HTML code or reoccurring text that you often use in your posts. You can use predefined variables to replace parts of the snippet on insert. All snippets are available in the post editor with a TinyMCE button.

It’s my first official WordPress Plugin, so be gentle with me. I’ve tested it quite carefully though so it should work properly. It’s developed under WordPress 2.7 so I wouldn’t dare saying that it works in earlier versions.

Post Snippets is a plugin I needed for another site of mine, so I developed a basic version some time ago. It has saved me tons of time, and I thought I might as well clean it up – add a proper admin page – and release it if others would have use for it as well.

I hope some find it as useful as I have, drop a comment if you feel like or suggest a new feature or ideas for improvement.
